Tropical Fruit World, an agri-tourist farm, research park and tourist attraction located on Australia’s Gold Coast, is attempting to lure more Japanese tourists.
Aymon Gow, Operations Manager at Tropical Fruit World, has enlisted the help training and consulting company, TravConsult, to educate his team to successfully interact with Japanese tourists.
Gow said; “With direct flights from Japan to the Gold Coast due to commence on 1 October, we engaged TravConsult to help give our team that edge to really “wow” the Japanese visitors to Tropical Fruit World.”
Japanese culture holds quality fruit in high regard, with gift-wrapped items often used as gifts for family and friends. By the end of 2008, Jetstar will be flying direct into the Gold Coast from Japan 12 times a week.
