An indoor theme park billed as the world’s biggest opened recently in Indonesia, ChannelNewsAsia has reported. The 2.2 hectare park, called Trans Studio Makassar, is located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, and features 21 attractions. The theme park is part of an integrated project which includes a shopping mall and hotels.

NEW YORK - “What a great view!’’ exclaims a young woman, her long hair ruffled by a rainy gust. Three stories above the street, she stands in Manhattan’s new, elevated park, the High Line, in the former meatpacking district of the West Village.

Australia is set for another bumper cruise season with the nation’s largest cruise operator, Carnival Australia, announcing that a record 190,000 passengers will sail on its ships locally during the next six months.The figure is up 13 per cent on last year’s season and almost double the number of passengers carried by Carnival Australia five years ago.

Take, for example, the potato. Rogacki (pronounced Ro-GATZ-ki) has one prep-kitchen devoted solely to washing, steaming, peeling and chopping. The store makes some two tons of potato salad a week, in at least six varieties.
Upstairs and in the basement, workers are busy filleting herring, slicing cucumbers, shaving cabbage and carving meat to keep Berliner feinschmeckers happy.
