Holland America Line has announced its expansion plans for 2010, with new itineraries throughout the Southern Hemisphere aboard the 1,432-passenger capacity ms Volendam, and the introduction of a brand new liner, Nieuw Amsterdam.
The new itineraries include, for the first time, a circumnavigation of Australia departing Sydney. This 34-day sailing will visit 18 ports of call, and spend two days cruising the Great Barrier Reef, making Holland America the only premium cruise line to offer daylight (more…)

THE BASICS
Although it’s named after the early-20th-century French fashion designer Jean Patou, the Hotel Patou is more like a B & B than a full-service boutique hotel that can handle the demanding whims of a fashion icon.
