A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed for the development of a new tourism-leisure complex in the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone, South Korea. According to a Korea Herald report, the complex will be built on approximately 2.25km² of reclaimed land in the Ungdong district. Facilities will include a 30-hole golf course, waterpark and marina, as well as hotels, a casino and hospitals. The first phase of the project is scheduled to be complete in 2013.

The move follows a similar deal with the Hermitage State Museum in St Petersburg , Russia , which was previously reported in TDA.
“Through the sponsorship from Korean Air, we’re excited about the prospect of providing our visitors with state-of-the-art mobile technology to help them understand our exhibits in their own language,” said British Museum Director, Neil McGregor.

Korean Air is sponsoring the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia, and including a Korean language version of the museum’s audio tour guide services.
The current audio guide provides information about some 300 display pieces in six languages. Korean becomes the first Asian language to be included in the guide.
